How do I create a route in the TrailIntel Web App?
There are various ways to find destinations to build your route on the TrailIntel Web App.
Creating a route is simple with the TrailIntel web app. First, launch the map by clicking Map from the menu on the left side of the screen.
Then, find your starting location - either from the map view or by using the search function in the top left corner of the map. Points of interest will show on the map as icons as you browse the areas you’d like to ride. When you click one, it will open a menu with: an overview where you can share or favorite a trail, a list of nearby trails, the current weather conditions in that location, and the Route Planner feature.
To use the search feature, click the search box in the top left corner.
Here, you can type in a search query, filtered by the type of location if you’d like to refine it further.
Once you have selected your starting location, either through search or browsing the map, click Route Planner and select “Ride From Here” to begin your route.
Then, find your destination using the same methods as you’d use to find your start location. In the example below, this was done by clicking the point from the map.
Select the Route Planner, click “Ride To Here”, and your route will be automatically created!
You can view the directions for your route in the column on the left, share the route in a variety of different ways, or add it to your favorites for future use.
When you save your route, you can edit the name and description.
